a good addition to protect the optic from impacts, but now the rubber cover doesn't fit and when cleaning the pistol the lens is exposed .I am using a ball of cotton as a substitute and that seems to work ok.

Good product. Have 3 Justice and Liberty red dots. Having a little extra protection is always good. Bought my first one 4 days before the black Friday sale. The others on black Friday that came with free Ironsides. Not wanting to have one without the Ironsides. Purchased this one during weekend sale for sale price on websites.

I own Ironsides shields on 2 of my Swampfox optics. Although the optics are tough by themselves, the shield offers an incredible edge of protection for tougher than normal use or a mishap.

I haven’t mounted the sight yet. As I’m still waiting on the mill work. But the Ironsides fit the sight nicely and finish looks to be too notch.

Precision made addition seems very capable of protecting the sight. On my mount (Springer Springfield XDM 5.25) the locating pins are just high enough to engage the sight with the Shield added. Time will tell if things stay together, something to consider depending on your mount design.

Mounted the Justice red dot with the Swampfox picatinny mount and Justice Ironsides on my CZ Scorpion and love the setup. Great fit and finish. The Ironsides justice combo is rugged and looks great. Also, hats off to Swampfox customer support team. I had an issue of receiving the wrong item from an Amazon promotion and they were super fast and awesome to deal with!

Awesome, fit perfectly with my optic on my Glock 17. Just ordered another one but for my Liberty to go on my Glock 19.

It's too thin in a few areas, it needs a more endowed brow so you can charge the weapon easier, and it's way too expensive for what you get.

Very sturdy and protective. My concern is that I think with the adapter it raises the RDS too much to zero with standard height iron sights.

A must have to protect the red dot sight. Lightweight, yet strong protection.

Comments: Over priced for what you get. Not thrilled with it, but it will work. I guess I expected something a little more refined. $45 for a bent piece of steel ? I could see $20-$25 for this at most. Would I recommend it? Yes if you are hard on your firearm, then get it for protection of the red dot. Could be a lot better quality and a lower price.

Bought three of these to go with three Justice RedDots. The Justice red dots fit perfectly, snug and well protected. You won’t even notice it’s there when picking up the sight. Great deal of protection for small amount of money.

I have a few Swampfox Dots / Products And they have yet to let me down or leave me with any complaints!

Reason for 4 stars is that with my LaRue QD attachment for the rmr base the Ironsides keep the front lugs from entering the sight itself. So far I haven't had any issues and it has protected my sight very well and the sight has maintained zero. I would still reccomend getting it, just be aware that if you do the same setup as me that the lugs will not protrude enough.

The Ironsides Shielding is a great addition to my Liberty setup on my pistols. I really like the fact that I don’t have to worry so much about babying my optic (not that you need to anyway). I like that I can train hard knowing in the event of hard drops, bumps, or hits the optic won’t sustain any unnecessary damage.

Besides looking battle proof, fits nice and tight around optic. Looks great on top of my 930spx

I recently mounted the ironside shield on my justice green dot sight on a pistol carbine in the hopes of entering the steel challenge category. With brass flying, I fully believe that my sight shall be protected.

Nice addition to an already rugged optic. It doesn’t take up much space but gives the peace of mind that your optic is protected. Great addition.

Placed this shield around my Justice for added protection on top of my PCC. I'm 10 times more comfortable now throwing my pistol carbine around, taking it camping, and throwing it in my truck. Excellent protection for your optic investment.

Ironsides is a great addition to my optic

I have had my Justice for 2 years in a 45* offset mount on my AR. It has been to the range for dynamic shooting and coyote hunting. I bought the Ironside to protect the RDS in case of a fall or drop. It installed easily and fit as it should.

I have 2 Ironsides and they protect the scope well. It’s a cool concept. The fit is great. It does add a little bulk to the overall platform, but for the protection that it offers, it’s worth it.
