Press Release
DENVER, CO (August 24, 2023) – Clear, precise, tough, Swampfox Optics is proud to present the Raider 1x20 Micro Prism, offering a winning combination of speed, precision, and resilience. The Raider is equipped with a T-2 footprint, making it incredibly versatile across various firearm mounting platforms. Its die-cast zinc alloy construction and titanium bolts provide reliability in even the most demanding conditions.
Central to the Raider's design is its etched reticle, available as either a Bullet Rise Compensation (BRC) reticle or a 6 MOA dot, both offered in red or green illumination. The BRC reticle, offering dedicated holds at 5, 10, and 15 yards, is particularly suited to AR-style rifles and similar platforms. Raider includes 10 brightness settings, including two night vision-compatible, to adapt to a variety of lighting conditions. Discernible even without illumination, the prism scope reticle ensures a reliable sighting picture and is an excellent alternative for those with astigmatism or struggle with traditional dot sights.
Swampfox’s Shake N' Wake auto on/off feature optimizes Raider battery life up to 35,000 hours by shutting down the illumination after 225 seconds of inactivity. Once movement is detected, the optic instantly powers back on to the previous brightness setting.
The Raider's generous eye relief ensures rapid and clear target acquisition while its adjustable rear diopter allows the sight to be used with both eyes open, providing a tactical edge in high-stakes scenarios. Further enhancing Raider's utility is its vast 100-yard field of view, promoting quick target acquisition and heightened situational awareness.
When it comes to mounting options, Raider offers true flexibility. Included with each optic are two riser mounts (1.10” and 1.60”), allowing for adjustable optic height in addition to third-party compatibility. The optic also features an innovative lens cover connected to the battery compartment, providing added protection for easy stowing and safeguarding of your optic.
