It’s almost that time of year! Our 3rd Annual Rocky Mountain Range Day is coming up and we’ve got big news to share about the event. Previously exclusive to firearms industry professionals, we’re excited to open Rocky Mountain Range Day to the public for the first time this fall, October 25-26th.
Taking over Dragonman’s legendary property outside Colorado Springs, RMRD will showcase 30 shooting vendors across three ranges offering unlimited access to firearms of all types. Off the range, attendees can interact with nearly two dozen non-shooting vendors, take to the airsoft field for force-on-force games, tour Dragonman’s private military weapon, vehicle, and memorabilia museum, grab food from area food trucks, and more. One lucky winner will also go home with the RMRD MAGNUM Giveaway Prize Pack, valued over $5,000.

About RMRD
What is RMRD?
Founded by Swampfox Optics in 2022, Rocky Mountain Range Day (RMRD) is an action-packed event that celebrates and supports Colorado’s Second Amendment community. More than a range day, RMRD brings leading manufacturers, local businesses, and firearm enthusiasts together for two days of shooting and fun activities at Dragonman’s.
When is RMRD?
The 3rd Annual Rocky Mountain Range Day will be held October 25-26, 2024. The two-day event includes separate Industry and Consumer Days.
Industry Day
Friday (10/25) is exclusive to firearm manufacturers and dealers, local businesses, media, and content creators. Closed to the general public, Industry Day provides time for vendors and industry professionals to set up, connect, and personally participate in RMRD activities.
Consumer Day
Saturday (10/26) is open to the public from 10am to 5pm, with VIP Pass holders allowed entry into the event one hour early (9am). New for 2024, Consumer Day expands RMRD for all firearm enthusiasts to enjoy with all-day shooting, local food trucks, and other activities.
Where is RMRD?
For the second consecutive year, Rocky Mountain Range Day will be hosted at Dragonman’s. Located 15 minutes outside Colorado Springs, the 240-acre property boasts multiple shooting ranges, airsoft/paintball fields, and motocross tracks, as well as a firearm retail shop and expansive private military memorabilia museum.
Who is RMRD for?
Rocky Mountain Range Day is for all Federal Firearm Licensees (FFLs), firearms-related businesses and organizations, firearms industry media and content creators, and local firearm enthusiasts in Colorado and neighboring states. If you manufacture or sell firearms, own or shoot guns, cover the firearms industry, create gun content, or simply support the Second Amendment, RMRD is for you!
This year, we’re excited to bring 50 shooting and non-shooting vendors, over 500 firearm enthusiasts, and multiple food trucks together for the biggest and best RMRD yet.

Why should I attend RMRD?
Rocky Mountain Range Day is much more than a range event. A celebration of Colorado’s firearms community, RMRD brings together manufacturers, dealers, businesses, content creators, and firearm enthusiasts for two days of shooting and fun activities. Now open to the public, the event provides industry brands and professionals and local consumers with a unique opportunity to connect on and off the range, showcase and demo guns and gear, and be a part of the resilient Second Amendment movement in our beautiful state.
